American Indian Family Center

The purpose of the American Indian Family Center (AIFC) has been to support families to help ensure the development of healthy children. We believe that parents can find strength in cultural traditions. It is the traditions and values of the 'old ways' that will strengthen the family, keep families together and make communities healthy and strong.The purpose of the AIFC is to support families to help ensure the development of healthy children. The services provided by the American Indian Family Center (AIFC) are now structured under two program areas, Family Support Services and Employment Support Services. The Family Support Services include mental health services, prevention and recovery services, prevention and intervention of child neglect and abuse, parenting support and youth work. The Employment Support services include one on one employment counseling, development of job readiness skills and job club support.
