Native American Workshops Training paraprofessionals working with speech and language impaired children

Participants:
Paraprofessionals, Assistants, Aides, Technicians, Coordinators, Administers, Teachers, Parents and/or anyone who wants to increase their knowledge of working with Native American children with Speech and Language disabilities.

Part I two-day session November 2-3, 2010
* Will learn nature of speech and language disorders effecting Native American students.
* Will learn terminology/concepts of speech and language disorders effecting Native American students.
* Will learn indirect language stimulation techniques.

Part II two-day session November 4-5, 2010
* Will learn therapy techniques for pre-school, elementary, middle school and high school Native American students.

Pre-requisite for Part II: Completion of Part I or Beginning Session.
