We are looking for drummers/singers, dancers and MC to help us out on our first tribal Pow Wow. We hope to be able to offer prizes, and will be able to offer some kind of assistance with travel expenses, room and board.

This is our second year. We are excited to keep the Powwow going in our area. This is an annual Traditional Intertribal event. Everyone is welcome. Admission is free. There is a free dinner for the Elders and special guests the Friday evening prior to the Powwow. We will update this listing with more information as it comes.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

FREE PARKING! GREAT FOR KIDS AND YOUTH GROUPS!

This is a teaching powwow. We will have demonstrations and lots of things that everyone can do and see. We will have lots of dancers in regalia and lots of great vendors that you can visit while you're with us. There will be a native village with tipi's (lodges) that you can look in and take pictures in front of, we will also have re-enactors with period clothing and equiptment. The DAV will have a wonderful display of military vehicles and gear from now and years gone by in a museum type setting to honor all of our vetrans. There will be an arena that you can try your hand at throwing a tomahawk, or spear. You can also try shooting a blowgun and for the kids we have corn cob darts, and the rabbit stick game.

The donations and vendor fees are what we will be using to pay for next years powwow, so all donations are greatly appreciated.

Everyone bring a lawn chair and come join the fun.
